Charles Manson
Charles Milles Manson was born on November 12, 1934 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Manson was found guilty in 1971 for murdering seven people, actress Sharon Tate and four other people at Tate's home, and the next day, A married couple, Leno and Rosemary LaBianca, all carried out by members of the group at his instruction. Manson's followers also killed several of people at other times and locations. Manson was also convicted for two of these other murders of Gary Hinman and Donald "Shorty" Shea.
Childhood:
Charles was born by an unmarried 16 year old name Kathleen Maddox in the General Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio. Manson was first name "no name Maddox" after weeks he was Charles Milles Maddox. After months of his birth his mother got married to a laborer name William Manson, whose last name was given to him. Charles biological father was name Colonel Walker Scott, which Kathleen filed a bastardy suit that resulted in an agreement judgment in 1937. Charles never knew his biological. Manson's first offenses was by burgling a grocery store to obtain money that enabled him to rent a room. He robbed many other stores, including the one where he stole the bicycle from, he was captured and was sent to Indianapolis juvenile center. After one day he escaped and was recaptured, he was sent to Boys Town. Four day later he escaped again but he was accompanied with a boy. They both committed armed robberies on the way to the boy's uncle. At age 13 Manson was sent to Indiana Boys School which he claims that he brutalized sexually. He escaped with two other boys in 1951, in Utah they were caught driving to California with the cars they all stole. They had all burgled some filling stations along the way, for stealing cars across state line Manson was sent to Washington D.C.'s National Training School for Boys.
Trail:
The trial began in June 15, 1970. The main witness was Kasabian, who, along with Manson, Atkins, Krenwinkel, had been charge for seven counts of murder. Since Kesabian wasn't part of the killing she was granted immunity in exchange for a testimony detailing the nights of the crime. Judge William Keene granted Manson permission to be his own attorney, because of Manson's behavior his permission for being his own attorney was withdrawn before the trial has started. On Friday, July 24 the day of the testimony Manson had arrived with an X carved into his forehead. He issued a statement that he was "considered inadequate and incomplete to speak or defend himself" and has X'd himself for the establishment's world. A few weeks later the female defendants copied the mark into their own foreheads, as did many family members a few days later.
